Liverpool fans urge club to sign Mousa Dembele to partner Naby Keita next season

According to reports in The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly willing to sell midfielder Mousa Dembele this summer if they receive an acceptable offer for the £80,000-a-week star, and Liverpool fans have urged their club to sign him to partner summer addition Naby Keita in the centre of the park next season.

The Mirror says that while Spurs aren’t actively looking to sell the 30-year-old, whose current contract is set to run out in 2019, they could be tempted to cash in if they receive a bid that they are unable to turn down for a player that turns 31 years of age in July.

The Belgium international has certainly been one of the north London outfit’s standout performers in 2018 and he impressed in his side’s 2-2 draw against the Reds at Anfield back in February – a display that obviously hasn’t been forgotten by the home faithful.

Liverpool supporters have been quick to have their say on the midfielder, who could be a potential replacement for captain Jordan Henderson despite an improved display from the England international against Bournemouth at the weekend, and while one said he would be “a perfect signing for us”, another said “would take him in a heartbeat”.
